Midnight Days was filmed on location at Franklin Castle in Cleveland, Ohio and performed entirely without dialogue. It is the second installment in Bryan Enk's Mouth of Madness trilogy, following Scarlett Mecca and the Pentagram Girl (1999) and followed by Mina Seward (2001). ​
